Set in a former industrial hall in Potsdam's Babelsberg district, Lackfabrik has six indoor padel courts, four doubles and two singles, and a no-frills, self-service setup where players enter with a code sent after booking, with no staff on site. The club was founded by Fabian Böhm, a former Bundesliga and German national team handball player, and has a relaxed, social feel. It draws everyone from first-timers to ambitious tournament players, and its WhatsApp community helps people find partners. Its mix of raw industrial character and modern courts makes it popular with groups of friends, families and kids' outings.
